The tap-changer switch is designed for use in distribution transformers to tap the winding terminals to get the different voltage value.
The switch body, rotor, and shaft are made of a high strength, glass-filled thermoplastic material. The operating shaft is sealed against leakage by two high temperature resistant O-Rings.
The tap-changer switch is no excitation switch, operate it just in no load condition.
The switch has 6 contacts and five positions, can change the transformer voltage: -5%, -2.5%, 0 , 2.5%, 5%
